Luigi Micheletti Award 2024

The Luigi Micheletti Award wants to identify remarkable, unique, extraordinary permanent exhibitions, with a focus on the way how content is translated into a narrative, it is, in short, history-telling.

History-Telling

The Luigi Micheletti Award wants to identify remarkable, unique, extraordinary permanent exhibitions, with a focus on the way how content is translated into a narrative, i.e. storytelling.

The jury of museum experts will pay attention to a multitude of aspects, like the structure of the story, the architectural characteristics, if and how objects are used, whether or not in combination with modern media, and much more. And, of course, how the exhibitions are perceived with the intended audience(s) is crucial.

Participation strengthens your visibility

The annual European Museum Academy Award Ceremony will put the museums – and especially the winner – in the spotlight. The winner will receive a trophy specially designed for the occasion. There will be given extra media-attention through the networks of the European Museum Academy and its partners.

Participation thus strengthens your visibility, and all participants will have some taglines to use in heir own communications to audiences and decision-makers. The award ceremony is also the place to exchange with colleagues and see extraordinary examples.
