This ongoing project aims to preserve the Kafana as a social and cultural hub where food, music, and emotional expression thrive. With influences from Serbian, Turkish, Hungarian, and Greek cuisine, and live music that evokes deep emotions, the Kafana plays a unique role in Serbian life.
However, globalization and modernization threaten this practice, prompting efforts to protect and preserve its legacy.
