Futurium, Germany
The Futurium in Berlin explores future living through science, culture, and dialogue. It features exhibitions on Human, Nature, and Technology, a lab for experimentation, and a forum for discussions.

The Futurium is an innovative “House of Futures” located on the Spree River in Berlin’s government district, exploring how we want to live tomorrow through science, culture, and dialogue. Opened in 2019, this distinctive modern building spans over 5,000 square meters across three floors, featuring 3,200 square meters of exhibition space.
The museum addresses the fundamental question: “How do we want to live?” across three main thinking spaces—Human, Nature, and Technology—presenting various possible futures and exploring sustainability, artificial intelligence, and social transformation. The Futurium Lab allows visitors of all ages to experiment with materials and technologies, while the Forum hosts public discussions bringing together scientists, politicians, and citizens. With free admission and a focus on accessibility, the building itself exemplifies sustainability through solar panels and rainwater utilization systems, serving as a nearly zero-energy model.
