Central Bohemian Museum in Roztoky u Prahy

The Central Bohemian Museum in Roztoky, established in 1957 and situated on the grounds of Roztoky Castle and Brauner’s Mill, offers a diverse array of collections including archaeology, natural science, history, art history, and ethnography, with regional and beyond significance. The museum is noted for its specialized conservation and restoration facilities, serving both public and private entities. Visitors can explore two permanent exhibitions in the castle: one on estate management during the Liechtenstein era and another on life in summer residences from the late 19th to early 20th centuries. Additionally, the Brauner Mill houses an exhibition dedicated to painter Zdenka Braunerová, showcasing her work and personal connection to Roztoky.
