The European Museum Academy is pleased to share Kinaole’s valuable report, “Digital Accessibility Report of European Museums.” The report analyses and presents conclusions based on a study of 17 prominent European cultural institutions, including the Louvre, British Museum, Rijksmuseum, Museo del Prado, and the Pompidou Centre.

This year’s International Summer School of Museology that will take place in Koper, Slovenia, from 27 to 30 May, focuses on the climate change with the special emphasis on relations to museums and cultural heritage.
The European Museum Academy has developed a Gender Equality Plan to address gender disparities in the museum sector across Europe. The plan aims to promote diversity and inclusivity by implementing strategies such as ensuring gender balance in leadership positions, offering gender sensitivity training, advocating for gender equality, and promoting diverse representation in exhibitions and programs.
The Živa Award collects interesting experiences and makes possible to share them at the transnational level. It encourages competition in order to increase the number of museums which can do better for our societies.
The European Museum Academy is a volunteer society of museum experts from different national and cultural backgrounds, united for the advancement of knowledge in museology.
